Not directly related, but since you mentioned "traditional"
presentation programs ...

One of the Red Fedora's turned me on to a couple of different
solutions, and one I settled on is AsciiDoc (simple markup, which can
still be converted 1->1 DocBook XML) with a custom script.  With 1
source file, I can ...

- Generate a standalone "Chapter," including "presenter script"
- Generate a HTML+JavaScript "Slideshow"

This way no one needs any special software, I only need to make 1
"source" to generate both.

Furthermore, after the "presentation," I can go back and embed any
audio/video recorded and re-generate both the "Chapter" and
"Slideshow" so it launches it.  It's so simple to embed such, just cut
up the audio or video, and add a simple tag (with the file).

Hence why I wanted to point this out ... especially since it removes
any dependencies on any software, and "just works."
