[Novalug] A Plea for NAS Help

*Herbi,*

Thanks for the suggestion. I have disabled all the firewalls. In the
process of working on this, I've found a list of problems like you
wouldn't believe - many associated with the effects of years of
experimenting and accumulating left over odd settings from each of the
experiments. I've also come to realize that the computers on my LAN
were much older than I had realized. I've wound up unplugging seven
old/odd computers, thus simplifying my set-up to just a few known good
pieces of equipment. Also, in consideration of the dire straits I've
been driven into, I'm taking the final solution - I'm actually reading
the manual. Once I get all the self inflicted stupidities out of the
way, if it still doesn't work, I'll bother you guys again.

*Charlie*
