[Novalug] Any way to trick an old PC to boot from a DVD?

The weird thing was/is, the limits on

   "Maximum Memory Module Size: 512 MB" and
   "Maximum Total Memory Size: 1024 MB"

come from the dmidecode output.  Of course, I've seen dmidecode in error
before, like when it said one of my boxen had a CPU running at over twice
maximum safe speed, although it had not been overclocked.  That said, I've
become a strong fan of dmidecode lately.  It's been annoying trying to
figure out specs on MoBo's and cards that don't have easily identified
labels on them.
