-n    ( see man ssh)

Also to test the effect of an empty environment you might try:

env -i ssh -i /Path/To/Home/.ssh/id_rsa -R 2048:localhost:22 user@server

Not sure, but using a script sounds like the easiest way to always use the
same arguments.
