[Novalug] Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI)

To clarify, KVM over IP is a seperate standard, and not a part of the IPMI
system.

SOL or serial-on-LAN is provided, and the BIOS will do "console
redirection" to the serial port that is mapped by the BMC. It is nearly
indistinguishable from a serial console when operating in this manner.

We used the "console=ttyS0 or ttyS1" kernel parameters to tell the Linux
kernel to redirect the console to IPMI.
