I use a droid x, rooted it, and tether it wirelessly to my laptop for
internet. Works great, accept verizon wireless can go down all day. Also the
droid heats up below the battery and can reach approx 120F when on
continuously.

However, the root and tethering apps are free and no Additional charges

Subject: [Novalug] OT: Android and Verizon

Does rooting an Android OS "work" with Verizon - I'm considering an HTC
Incredible.

Does Verizon complicate things, e.g., "reset" the phone?

Replies based on personal experience preferred.
