[Novalug] Red Hat Network (RHN) technical information -- WAS: The "value" proposition of Red Hat

One of these days I'll find a way to do it all in one (1) or, at the most,
two (2) posts, so I don't blabber on the list any more than I already do.
Then again, I tend to make long posts anyway, so just one of my posts
is already like ten (10) from most others, and annoying to some (many?).

Although I'm serious about having to do this as an employee at other
GPL-centric and solely-GPL firms prior to Red Hat. I still remember a
pair of e-mails of mine sent over just two hours resulted in a six (6) figure
purchase from a significant Taiwanese OEM that had no less than three
(3) "evaluations" over a couple of years prior. I have been dealing with
those for the past decade on and off.

Sometimes it's really in all how you put it, and sometimes the miscon-
ceptions and other points that have to be worked through one by one
through verbosity.
