Yup!  You just need to get the right kind of enclosure to put it in.
If it's too old for MicroCenter to have such a thing, try eBay.

On the other claw, it might be more worthwhile to just get a modern
external -- you can get a good terabyter with all the modern
connection ports, for under $100.
