Thunderbird now has two folders and a sym-link in my home directory. Any
insight as to why? I have in /home:

    * .thunderbird, which includes a default folder with folders Cache,
      chrome, extensions, Mail, News, US, as well as address books
      (abook-x.mab files), and several other files.
    * .thunderbird.upstream, not as big as above but with another default
      folder containing folders the empty folders named extensions and Mail,
      as well as several other files.
    * .mozilla-thunderbird, a sym-link to .thunderbird.
