[Novalug] MythTV - Which Hauppauge Board / Hdw?

I still use a really old analog Hauppauge on a P-III, with a converter box to
pull in the digital signals, though. I don't use it to record though.
 I seem to
recall that the supplied Windows-oriented software was required for the
remote to work, but otherwise, the bt878 driver worked just fine.

We're planning a similar project on a newer computer with dual boards (to
record more than one show at a time). No clue what this will involve yet,
so we're very interested in hearing what works for other folks. I'm aware
that the HDTV stuff will require more bandwidth and storage, so my old
boxen prolly isn't up to the job. I do have a P-IV, but it has no HD (just
flashdrive) that I might use to experiment with (view, not record). but
deciding which TV board to get is getting in the way of progress. :P
