Actually, this article belongs in the 20th century.  I'm not kidding.

It's written by Windows people who actually do a disservice to
Linux adoption.  That's been a hallmark issue with many media
outlets.  They are talking about things Linux developers were
releasing by the late '90s.

Heck, they even tried to suggest some of the things use Windows
as well.  Sure, maybe as an interface.  But control systems and
other, mission-critical has always been the staple of Linux and
VxWorks since the late '90s.

Once Linux 2.4 was released, Linux became the defacto standard
default for everything.  Kernel 2.6 is closing in on 7 years old now.
