I just want to re-iterate that people should use the tools that
come with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (EL) first, or any "rebuilds"
of EL like CentOS, such as "system-config-bind". If it doesn't
do everything you need, then consider tools that do not come
with the distribution that may or may not be in-sync with the
distribution's release.

And yes, I understand Webmin does a good job of keeping up
with EL and rebuilds. But I've had a few issues with it on EL and
rebuilds in the past as well.

If you're very new to bind, I'll recommend "webmin" - a browser based
administration for your linux box. It does a lot more than DNS (pretty
much all core services on your box and then some). It guides you a bit
better through the creation of zones, maintaining configuration file
integration; generating RNDC keys etc. You'll also find several scripts
and "wizards" out there to help you get a new bind up and going easily.
Otherwise, it's a lot of typing and testing.
