[Novalug] Couple of Noob questions

second: i suggest trying 'Q' DVD-Author. url: http://qdvdauthor.sourceforge.net/
i haven't tried it myself yet, but i plan to after i clean up my
machine and upgrade to 9.10.

third: i can't think of any reason in the world that laptop wouldn't
run any major distro just fine.
