[Novalug] Ubuntu display question

I was going to say maybe resolution detection got messed up in 9.04
since I had to manually configure X to do 1280x1024. It autodetected
1124x?? and it made my monitor do this ungodly sounding whine.
But then I read Beartooths response and remembered I had a KVM in the mix.
