I think that thing is just for external drives. If you look here:
> ~ $ mount
> /dev/sdb1 on /storage type ext3 (rw)
> /dev/sdb5 on /fat32store type vfat (rw)
You've already got them mounted at /storage and /fat32store so you can just
add shortcuts to those mountpoints to the Places menu. To do that, just go to
/ in a file browser window and drag the storage and fat32store directories into
the sidebar.
