Online registration is still underway for the DC ACM Professional
Development Seminars being held at George Washington University March
16-18, 2009. Registration is closing soon -- don't miss out!
DC ACM seminars are designed to assist professionals in gaining solid
skills and cutting-edge knowledge to deal with rapidly changing
environments. The proceeds of these seminars are used to support
Washington, D.C. chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (DC
ACM), a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing opportunities
(including life-long learning, career development, and professional
networking) for meaningful connections between the area’s academics,
professionals, and policymakers in the computer science and information
technology fields.
By taking a Professional Development Seminar, you can help DC ACM
continue to serve the local computing community -- while at the same
time enhance the technical and/or management skills you may find
essential for surviving the economic downturn.
The classes are organized into five thematic "tracks": Security,
Database, Software Engineering, Project Management, and Business
Management. See seminar titles below. NOTE: Regrettably, two classes
under the Database track, as indicated below, have been cancelled due
the instructor's scheduling conflict.
