I've worked at a couple of Gvt contractors, interviewed with another, and
was approached by a recruiting agency about interviewing for an IT
position working on a project for a major political party, all within the
last 3 years. All used Perl, most used Oracle (the political party was
going to use Postgresql). A couple also used Java.

often Windows, and usually Cisco.
