/etc/inittab isn't necessary with upstart (in Fedora).

I like keeping /home separate so that I can encrypt it if desired.
Also it makes it easy for me to set other mounted partitions' options
to not update atime, which isn't very useful on /usr for instance.

Having a separate /etc, I'm not sure -- I'd think /etc/inittab would
be a sticking point.
