Transparency doesn't help if you're making poor choices.
Or maybe it does because it should prevent you from doing so ... ever.

A few from a recent sysad hiring round where honesty might not have
been the best policy:

Q: So, why are you thinking about leaving <old company>?
A: Well, I've been sleeping with my boss' wife and now that everyone
knows it's really quite uncomfortable.

Q: What's the most difficult problem you've had to deal with at work?
A: I met my wife at work, then she left me for a coworker on my team.

Q: Is there anything else you think we should know about you that we
haven't covered?
A: I really don't like to do system maintenance when mercury is in
retrograde. <pause> I mean, if it's an EMERGENCY I'll do it, but I
really don't like it.
