Try visiting http://bugzilla.redhat.com/ and type "kernel 4965" into the
search terms. (Wireless drivers are part of the kernel.) Take a look
at the resulting list -- I think this might be a known bug. Kubuntu is
probably using an older kernel, whereas Fedora tracks closer with
upstream since that's where the innovation happens.

You might find some additional joy in tinkering with newer kernels. The
kernel team, just like all other maintainers and group in Fedora, builds
their work on a publicly available site so you can see if their latest
work helps with your problem. Those builds can be found at
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji -- use the search box at the top
right to enter "kernel" for the package name, and you can find the
latest packages being built by the developers.

If that's too bleeding-edge for you, you can see if there's a newer
kernel already in the testing repositories by doing this:

yum --enablerepo=updates-testing list kernel

See the bug entries listed above to see if any particular build is
recommended for testing, and if you make a Bugzilla account, you can put
a comment in the bug detailing your experience. Please make sure that
you keep your comments detailed and relevant to that particular bug:

1. Explaining exactly how it fails, including error messages from the
logs, is much more helpful than "Still doesn't work" or "me too."
2. Avoid talking about different problems, as that makes issues harder
to track for the guys Doing the Hard Work.

Hope this helps.
