[Novalug] Printing problem, again

List,

I bellyached about this problem a while back but didn't follow up on the
invitation to post the file so that somebody could look at it. Now I
have tackled it again. It is quite puzzling.

I create a text file using vi (vim, in all likelihood). After a couple
of linefeeds I indent eight spaces (doesn't seem to be dependent on the
initial indentation, though), then Ms. If I print up to 69 Ms, all is
well. When I make the line consist of a string of 70 (or more) Ms, it
won't (let me say it again: WON'T; WILL NOT) print. It hangs.

I get the same problem at the end of the alphabet. I don't recall just
what letter I got to -- might be T. I am printing out a personal phone
list for the kitchen -- absolutely nothing but a simple minded text
file. I begin and end each letter with a string of caps -- 72 As, 72 Bs,
etc.

Charlie
