[Novalug] OT: Avoiding Spam / reunion dot com

I was "invited" to join reunion.com. I never trust these sites - they
are harvesters of personal info / spammers, in my opinion. The minimal
"services" that one receives "free" are just not worth it in my experience.

The "invitation included this link to decline:
http://smtp26.mail.reunion.com/track?type=click&mailingid=68800&messageid=6100&databaseid=1229335841&serial=1228209693&emailid=rogerb@bronord.com&userid=345584&extra=&&&2001&&&http://www.reunion.com/showInviteRegistration.do?unsub=true&invitee=rogerb@bronord.com&uid=311827954

Very interesting - I don't totally understand it: does this invoke their
smtp server?

Would you reply - I think it's better to just let this die. (I've
already told my friend to not do me favors like this.)
