[Novalug] linux based web hosting recommendations

I purchased a webhostingbuzz.com account for $3.95/month for 24 months.
You pay up front, so I basically paid $96 for two years.

My experience has been overall very good. I host sportjudo.org with
them and the bandwidth is certainly within the range of what we need.
You get a C Panel frontend to web, php, mysql, email, ftp, tsl, etc. I
had no problem convincing them that I needed ssh access.

I use ssh and scp to store backups on the machine. They run some flavor
of RedHat on the machine. You have to pay more for dedicated IP and a
web server certificate. With ssh, I have complete shell access, but not
as root. I am a normal user.

Every once in a while, ssh times out. That has been the only downside.
Customer service is quick and intelligent.

Bud Roth
