Perhaps culling it might get it down to a manageable size.  We could 
come up with some criteria, such as getting rid of anything that's over 
ten years old, or where we have other copies, or anything on the same 
subject as another book that's as thorough and more recent, or that's 
freely downloadable.

"Getting rid of" could take multiple forms.  We could make some money 
raffling things off or selling them on eBay, we could get a tax writeoff 
donating to a brick-and-mortar library, or IWCTW the truly un-foistable 
could just be pitched.
