[Novalug] Knoppix install??

last time i installed knoppix, it was knoppix-installer from the command
line, but they may have changed it since then.  why not try ubuntu if you
want to go without KDE and use gnome (assuming you want gnome)?  what about
feather linux (not sure the last time it was updated)?
