[Novalug] OpenSuSE 10.2 installer exhibits MS behavior

Delete doesn't commit too on my setup. I can abort at any time and not
have issues.

If you abort out of the gui install you can get into the ncursor
install and with that install program you can remove modules from the
install kernel. You could also start in the ncursor install by
selecting the text install at the boot screen when booting from a
Cd\DVD. I believe it is the f3 option. You can, of coarse, use the vttys
noted above in the ncursor install as well. 

I did find a reference to two people having the same issue as you but
there wasn't a resolution to the issue noted. It seems, like you,
they did not wish to risk the other installs they had in looking for a
non-hardware solution, so it may have a undocumented solution.
