What do you think this would fix?

I did another xorgcfg, after rebooting box. It locked it up again.

So, at this point I'm going to install my new SATA drive, that should clear
the drive errors, which are most likely being caused by a 2.5 and 3.5 IDE
drive using same bus, which I can't split due to space limitations.

And, I'm going to try using a different video device. Hopefully Dan Arico and
I can get together tomorrow, so I might be able to pick up several he has.

So, I think I'm going to go watch the football game.

Thanks for every ones help. I'll check email in about ten minutes for replies.
