Sounds like a nice package to mail to the VA attorney general also.

There was a report on public radio yesterday or the day before about a
resident in New Jersey who got the state Supreme Court to decide in her
favor in relation to a covenant dispute - where the covenant was being
used to block her attempt to campaign to be on the resident's association
board. It was a freedom of speech judgement. This was a landmark,
according to thr report because usually judges invoke the "you signed it
when you purchased the house". However if this jerk keeps changing
things, unilaterally and after the fact, then the covenant is probably
not enforceable.

According to the report 1/6th of Americans live in communities with home
owner assciations and covenants and these people are not deprived of the
normal protections of individual rights in relation to governence that one
enjoys in relation to city, county, state and federal laws and rules.
