And on Linksys routers, that port tends to be labeled "WAN". My advice:

[1] RTF Linksys M
[2] RTF Switch M
[3] Tell the salesman that you will be connecting the WRT54G and other 
equipment and that if it fails to work, that you expect to return it for 
a full refund.
