[Novalug] Another service running, need advice

Ok, got the "microcode" service running on a server which has a Via CPU.  The
microcode service is to "update the Intel CPU microcode".

I don't see a reason to run this service either, but it is. So, my guess is
that I could "safely" stop and disable this service.

What say you???
