Hey Justin, long time!
I have FiOS internet and TV but I chose not to get the business
package. I've been using DynDNS and haven't had any issues with it
but I'm hosting my websites elsewhere.
2) All of these questions are answered on the FiOS website but
something I will warn you about the DVR is that if you're used to a
Tivo, the DVR's will be a serious let down. Supposedly the Tivo3's
will work with the FiOS service and it might be worth it to shell out
the money for one because the 2 Verizon DVR's we are renting are
slow, awkward and seem to fill up way too fast. I saw an article
online where some tech writer was slamming the Comcast DVR's and when
I visited the link it's the same DVR that Verizon is giving out.
Generally the channels we got with the package that was one step
above the base are similar to cable without the movie channels and we
pay around 40 dollars a month. I was told some of the channels are HD
but we don't have an HD set yet. The box I have has HDMI, SVID, and
Component. I'm not sure on the output resolution. Hope this helps.
