Great link.

It has me doing:

Kubuntu
Mandriva
Ubuntu

I've heard Ubuntu mentioned here several times, any input on the others?

Pros and cons?

Mines a Dell Poweredge 1700 w/ Dual 900 intel procs
3 scssi drives of various sizes, and I wouldn't mind trying some RAID during
this process, to get my hands back into the game.

512 megs ram.

Anyway, I used to work on Sparc boxes, solaris mainly, a little sun one.

The last 6 or 7 years has been all windows stuff for some reason.
